Algae Forest (Deep Sea Sweep)

Breakdown of the visuals for the 4th biome of my game deep Sea Sweep, the Algae Forest. I use a background illustration then several background layers with different parallax, a color filter, then the gameplay layer, and finally a foreground layer with faster parallax and another color filter on top.
I draw a sketch for the background illustration and background layers together first, and try different color adjustments.
